We work in partnership with INTRAN, the interpretation and translation service for the Eastern Counties to arrange interpreters and translators, for free, to anyone needing help using our council services.
Wherever you see the INTRAN logo we will be able to help you access the information you need in your language through any of the following:
- telephone interpreting
- face-to-face interpreting
- lip speaking/British Sign Language interpreting
- translation of written council information into other languages
- translation of written council information in other formats such as Braille, audio-tape and large print.

For anyone in need of an interpreter, please let us know in advance of any appointment so that necessary arrangements can be made. If this is not possible, we can arrange to use the telephone interpretation service.
