Housing improvement board

Norwich City Council is committed to improving its housing service and has a programme of work to drive this forward.

As part of this we have a group called the housing improvement board (HIB) which is made up of both internal and external experts including tenants.

It meets formally on a bimonthly basis to consider the progress of the housing improvement project and more often if required to look in more detail at a particular area.

It acts as a ‘critical friend’ or adviser to the council, with responsibility for making decisions and carrying out actions to be made by corporate management team, the executive and housing improvement team.
