Annual report to tenants 2010-11

To make sure tenants get a fair deal, one of the things that social landlords, like the council, have recently been required to do is write an annual report.

The aim of this report is to give tenants and watchdog agencies a way of gauging how well the landlord is meeting its responsibilities and the needs of tenants.

The annual report should contain information on the council services that matter most to tenants.

This includes:

  • opportunities tenants are given to get involved in shaping and improving services
  • how homes are let
  • the conditions of homes
  • ways antisocial behaviour is being tackled
  • how we make sure we are getting value for money and spending public money wisely.

We have worked with tenant representatives to find out how you would like this information to be set out and as a result we have produced a full annual report and a summary version.
