Planning Portal
The Planning Portal enables you to submit planning applications online. You can:
- produce the required site location plans (subject to a fee)
- calculate and pay the application fee online, via a secure link
- attach electronic file documents and drawings
- access a range of useful National Planning Guidance
- submit some types of planning appeals.

Planning Public Access
The Planning Public Access website allows you to search for details of planning applications, plans and supporting documentation that have been submitted to Norwich City Council's planning service. The system allows you to:
- See details of planning applications received since the 28 November 2005 (including drawings and supporting documents).
- Monitor the progress of an application and be notified by email of changes or updates.
- Save searches and be emailed about a new application.
- Make comments on undecided applications direct to the planning service and the case officer.
- View planning application decisions (including conditions or reasons for refusal) made since the 28 November 2005
- Check whether an appeal has been lodged and any appeal decisions.
- View property details by reference to a map.
