Apply for a bulky waste collection
To arrange a bulky waste collection please contact us on 0344 980 3333.
The items to be collected must be placed on the edge of your property, nearest to the road, by 7am on the collection day.
If you live in a flat the items must be left on the ground floor, outside the building, where the collection team can easily identify them.
Please note: bulky waste does not include household waste eg plastic sacks of rubbish from your home.
Recycling bulky waste
Bulky household waste can also be taken to the household waste recycling centre on Swanton Road. For more information about this site, please visit the recycling pages on www.norfolk.gov.uk or call 0344 800 8004.
Please note: fridges and freezers need to be disposed of carefully as they contain cooling gases which are harmful if released into the environment.
If you have unwanted bulky items that are still in good condition then you can donate them to a charity shop, the Norfolk Homemakers Project, or give them a new home through www.uk.freecycle.org.
