Consultation closed 2 September 2011
The Electoral Administration Act 2006 requires all local authorities to carry out a review of polling districts, polling places and polling stations every four years.
The public consultation will run from Monday 18 July until Friday 2 September 2011.
We are looking for feedback on any aspect of polling districts, polling places and polling stations currently used. See links below for information about the current arrangements:
This information is also available for public inspection at the main reception, City Hall, St Peters Street, Norwich, from 9am to 5pm until 2 September 2011.
Who else is being consulted?
The city council’s returning officer, local political parties, MPs, MEPs and councillors will be consulted. We are also inviting views from electors within the Norwich City Council electoral area and the Norwich north parliamentary constituency.
Representations will be sought from people and organisations that have particular expertise in relation to accessing premises or facilities for those who have different forms of disability.
How to comment
Responses should, if possible, give alternative places that can be used as polling stations and polling places. Please send your comments by post or email no later than Friday 2 September 2011 and ensure you include your full postal address.
