Warm-up for Team GB in a free one-hour aerobic workout at the official London 2012 Live Site on Chapelfield Plain in Norwich.
Daily at 7.30am by the Chapelfield Big Screen, the classes are suitable for all ages with no experience required. All you need to do is turn up and join in - bring your friends, family and work mates.
The classes are designed to get you in the sporting mood ahead of the day’s live Olympic action on the Big Screen, every day throughout the Olympic and Paralympic Games.
There are 22 big screens operating at locations across the UK, Norwich has the only one in East Anglia. Working with the BBC and local authorities, they feature all the latest action and news from London 2012. The screens are erected and run in partnership between the London 2012 Organising Committee, the BBC and the various cities, in association with London 2012 partners BT and Lloyds TSB, supported by Cisco and with funding from the National Lottery through the Olympic Lottery Distributor.
Norwich City Council applied for the opportunity to host a ‘London 2012 Live Site’ and the big screen has been in place since 2008. The screen is being used to celebrate the arts, culture and sport on the run up to London 2012. It is a partnership between Norwich City Council, LOCOG (London 2012 Organising Committee for the Olympic Games), the BBC and Chapelfield.
