Drivers will not be able to use the Monastery car park, off Elm Hill, for two weeks as work is carried out by EDF Energy Networks.
EDF Energy Networks is installing a substation and laying cabling at the entrance of the Monastery. The road will be out of use from today (24 May) until 4 June, meaning there will be no access to the car park.
Leaseholders, residents and businesses living and working nearby have been informed.
Alternative parking can be found nearby on Colegate, Magdalen Street or at the St Andrew’s multi storey car park
