The Norwich Partnership

The Norwich Partnership is the Local Strategic Partnership that the Government expects to prepare a community plan for Norwich. The community plan will identify the priorities that need to be tackled to make Norwich a better place, now and in the future, and to close the gap between deprived neighbourhoods and the rest of the city.

The Norwich Partnership has a Steering Group that provides vision and leadership, articulates the ambitions of the Partnership and acts as a catalyst for the social, environmental, cultural, economic development and overall well-being of Norwich - especially those neighbourhoods in need of renewal.

The Norwich Partnership has identified a single, overarching priority of:

Raising the aspirations of young people and their families, especially in the more deprived communities of Norwich, and extending the opportunities available to them so that they can participate in all areas of the economy and participate fully in the quality of life that the City can offer.

The Steering Group works with four Round Tables that each concentrate on one important and inter-related aspect that determines how Norwich is now, and how it can develop in the future.
