Go 4less
The Norwich City Council National Bus Pass now incorporates the Go 4less card so automatically entitles you to our Go 4less discounts, shown below. You no longer need to apply for a separate Go 4less card.
To get your National Bus Pass you have to be a Norwich City Council resident aged 60 or over, or a qualifying disabled person. Find out how to apply for a bus pass.
About the Go 4less card
The Go 4less card is a FREE sport and leisure discount card which allows up to 50 per cent discount at council facilities as well as various sports and leisure attractions.
The free swim programme continues to be available for Go 4less card holders, including the over 60s, to swim for free at Riverside Leisure Centre during designated times.
The one-year Go 4less card is available to Norwich residents who are:
- full-time students aged 16 or over
- on a government training scheme
- disabled and receiving disability living allowance, or
- in receipt of one of the following:
- income support
- council tax or housing benefit
- working tax credit (low income category)
- income related job seekers allowance.
Dependants of the above will be issued cards from three years of age.

- Cinema City

- All Norfolk museums
- Garden Cafe
- The Garage
- Inspire Discovery Centre
- Norwich Arts Centre
- Norwich Puppet Theatre
- Number Ten Bowling
- Sewell Park College Sport Centre
- Maddermarket Theatre
- The Waterfront
Priority booking at the Theatre Royal
Priority booking is available to Go 4less card holders to book low cost seats when each set of shows go on sale. This happens three times a year and the next priority booking day will be Monday 23 August. This is for the new season's shows including The Blues Brothers, Horrible Histories, Matthew Bourne's Cinderella, Jethro, Shaun the Sheep, St Petersburg Ballet and Punt and Dennis.
Applying for a card
Download an application form and information leaflet here, or pick one up at the Norwich Tourist Information Centre in The Forum, the customer centre at City Hall or The Norman Centre on Bignold Road.
Apply in person at one of the three places mentioned above, bringing your completed form together with a passport-sized photo, proof that you live in Norwich and if relevant, proof that you are in full time education, eg a letter on headed paper from a tutor or teacher.
