Local Economic Partnerships
Norwich has the Norwich Economy Round Table as part of its Local Strategic Partnership. It is made up of local businesses, and economic stakeholders including, local authorities, education, training and employment providers.
It is chaired by Caroline Jarrold, Group Affairs Director of Jarrolds & Sons Ltd and co-ordinated by the Economic Development Service.
The role of the Norwich Economy Round Table is to:
- take an overview of the needs of the local economy
- consult regularly regarding business needs
- take partnership action to address unmet needs or to add value to exisiting economic development activity
Norwich is also a partner in Shaping Norfolk’s Future, the county’s Local Economic Partnership.
