St Andrews Car Park

St Andrews car park

Since it opened in June 2005, St Andrews Car Park has been praised for its contemporary design, good circulation space and light environment. The car park has already generated national interest from other local authorities and the construction industry, but now St Andrews has been officially recognised as one of the UK’s top new car parks.

The interior and exterior of St Andrews have been designed in a contemporary style. The car park decks are light and airy, with a bright and spacious lobby and stairwells. Personal safety was one of the most important considerations in the design, with a state of the art CCTV system offering coverage within the building.

The £9.3 million project provides city centre shoppers with 1084 parking spaces. With an average of over 560,000 cars using the car park per annum, the car park is a major access point to the city for shoppers and visitors.
