August bank holiday bin collections

Bin collections in Norwich will be a day later than normal over the bank holiday week. Please make sure your bin is out by 7am on your collection day.

Parade on St Peters Street - Remembering those who fought so bravely in 1940


Spooky City (Halloween) - Thursday 31 October, 6pm to 8pm
Norwich city centre, Chapelfield Gardens 
Ghoulish activities and fancy dress competitions


Winter

Remembrance Sunday - Sunday 10 November
City Hall War Memorial – Norwich Cathedral

  • 10.40am - Service of Remembrance and wreath laying at City Hall War Memorial
  • 11.05am - Veteran and armed forces parade to Norwich Cathedral
  • 11.40am - Norwich Cathedral service of Remembrance

Christmas Switch-On - Thursday 14 November
Norwich city centre
A parade with Father Christmas, Father Christmas Grotto, entertainment in front of City Hall and the switching on of the city centre lights at 7pm.
