You can apply online for the following permits:

  • 4-hour short stay visitor permit - four hours of parking for visitors (operated by a ‘clock’), available for durations between 1 and 18 months, example price £24.60 for 12 months.
     
  • Free 4-hour short stay visitor permit - for households on certain means tested benefits.

Visitor permit scratch cards

Allows your visitor to park their own vehicle on-street in a designated controlled parking zone for the day validated on the scratch card and until 10am the following morning.

You can apply for scratch cards in multiples of £12, up to a maximum of 60 per rolling 12-month period, using the permit renewal form. See costs for city centre and outer areas.
