Closed consultation: Woodcock Road - road hump notice

Consultation closed 27 November 2018

This proposal is an amendment to the previously advertised Northern area 20mph SRO and road crossing and hump notice 2018.

After consideration of the previous consultation, at the September meeting of Norwich Highways Agency Committee (NHAC) it was decided to amend the proposed traffic calming for Woodcock Road. The two existing signal controlled pedestrian crossings will remain and the proposed traffic calming has been adjusted to provide two more sets of traffic cushions to reduce traffic speeds.

See the report (Item 5) and minutes of that NHAC meeting held on 20 September 2018.

These proposals are to slow traffic and encourage compliance with the new 20mph speed restriction to make the area safer and more pleasant for cyclists and pedestrians. This scheme is part of the Transport for Norwich (TfN) initiative to improve safety for all road users. For more information about TfN, please visit www.norfolk.gov.uk/tfn.
