Consultation closed: Sewell ward area - proposed double yellow lines

This proposal is to add/delete double yellow lines in the following areas:

(i) Denmark Opening – Install double yellow lines on the north side from the existing limited waiting bay to the end of the cul-de-sac and delete double yellow lines outside units 3 and 4 on the south side.

This proposal will keep the access to Layson Drive and the car park of Denmark Café clear of parked vehicles.

(ii) Garrett Court – Install double yellow lines on the west side and its cul-de-sac end, also double yellow lines on its east side for five metres into Garrett Court and 10 metres on Gertrude Road each side of the junction with Garrett Court.

This proposal will keep the footpath leading into this close and the junction free of parked vehicles.

(iii) John Stephenson Court – Install double yellow lines (a) on the south side and its cul-de-sac end, and (b) on the north side for four metres from its junction with Violet Road and from a point nine metres from Violet Road to the end of the cul-de-sac. Also on Violet Road, for seven metres on both sides of junction with John Stephenson Court.

This proposal will keep the footpath leading into this close, the cul-de-sac end and the junction free from parked vehicles.

(iv) Mousehold Avenue / Lavengro Road – Install yellow lines at this staggered junction for a distance of 46 metres on Mousehold Avenue and 10 metres into the north and south sections of Lavengro Road.

This proposal will keep this junction which is located close to Mousehold Infant and Nursery School, clear of parked vehicles.
