Social media for voluntary organisations
Colin is used to working with computers, but he wanted some additional support about how to use social media to promote the charity he works for.
During the drop-in Colin learned how to set up a Facebook page for the charity he is involved with and learned about the various things they could use Facebook for. He was able to pass on what he'd learned to his secretary, and they've been able to make the most of Facebook to promote and support the charity's work.
Colin was very complimentary about the volunteers, who he described as “very helpful and sympathetic”.
