Digital support success stories - Doreen

Doreen is a long-standing learner at the Millennium Library and has been attending the sessions there for more than 6 months.

Due to problems with her eye sight she struggles to read information on the computer, particularly text.  At the sessions she now gets help from our volunteers to read and reply to emails from her friends, who often send her updates on their travels and places they have visited.

Recently she and our volunteer Daniel have also used the library computers to find images of the places that her friends have travelled to so that she can see photos of some of the destinations.

Doreen has found the sessions very helpful for staying connected to people and intends to keep coming along regularly.
