Using spreadsheets
For the past two months Paul has been coming along weekly to the sessions at the Millennium library to learn how to use spreadsheets. He had taken a course 10 years ago but wanted to update his skills and get more confident.
Paul started off by working through the spreadsheet module on Learn My Way which was a good refresher of the basics and is now using some ICT books from the library as he builds up his knowledge. He’s now learning how to calculate averages and sums on a spreadsheet. Daniel, the volunteer, has created some online templates that they use in the lessons as well as the library books now that Paul is learning more complex spreadsheet functions.
Paul really enjoys the lessons is really pleased he is getting more advanced in his knowledge.
