A UK Parliamentary General Election will be held on Thursday 8 June 2017 to elect a Member of Parliament (MP).
There are two Parliamentary constituencies in the Norwich City Council area - Norwich South and Norwich North.
Norwich City Council is responsible for the Norwich South constituency and Broadland District Council is responsible for the Norwich North constituency.
Important dates
- Register to vote (or change existing details) by Monday 22 May. (You will need your National Insurance Number and date of birth).
- Apply for a postal vote, (or change or cancel an existing postal vote) by 5pm on Tuesday 23 May.
- Apply for a proxy vote by 5pm on Wednesday 31 May.
