Armistice: Legacy of the Great War in Norfolk - displays focus on the impact of the War specifically on Norfolk, from Zeppelin air raids and coastal defence to industry, agriculture and home life.

‘Avenue of Remembrance’

  • Names of all of those on the Roll of Honour audio broadcast
  • 3,544 poppies displayed in Memorial Gardens
  • City Hall is open until 6pm to view the Roll of Honour

6:40 - 7:10pm “A Cry for Peace” 

Across the country communities will come together for this final commemoration. There will be readings and poems, beacon lighting, and peals of bells from churches across the city.
