Lord Mayor's Procession 2019

Saturday 6 July, at 5pm

The Lord Mayor’s Procession is the centrepiece of the Lord Mayor’s Celebration in Norwich.

Starting from St Stephens Road, the parade will wend it's way through the city, along Castle Meadow and Tombland, ending at Palace Street.

The theme for this year’s carnival is ‘love the world around you’; showcasing the natural world and the things we can do to help protect it. Back by popular demand, life-size elephant puppets will join the Lord Mayor to lead the vibrant parade through the city centre.

Entries will be judged on their creative interpretation of the theme and quality.

  • 1st prize – £300
  • 2nd prize – £200
  • 3rd prize – £150.

Three additional prizes of £100 each will also be awarded.
