Parking permit extensions

Updated Friday 3 April 2020

Due to the current coronavirus situation, all existing parking permits (except season tickets) that were valid on 23 March 2020 will be automatically extended for three months, free of charge. This is regardless of the term of your permit.

For example:

  • A one-month permit, due to expire on 10 April, will now be valid until 10 July.
  • An 18-month permit due to expire on 1 September, will now be valid until 1 December.
  • A four-hour visitor permit valid until the 23 March, will now be valid until 23 June 2020.

Please do not contact us to renew your permit unless you have received a renewal notification by email, text or letter.

You will not be issued with a new permit to cover you for these additional three months, however our civil enforcement officers are aware of the extension so please ensure your expired permit continues to be displayed for the additional three months.

If you have received a renewal reminder recently, then please ignore this and a new renewal reminder will be sent out at the appropriate time.

If you have any other permit query, please get in touch online by using our contact us form.

Please do not call, as it’s important our call handlers are able to take emergency calls at this time.
