Free parking for key workers

Updated Wednesday 31 March 2020

While travel is currently restricted to essential journeys only, it’s important that those who need to travel for their work to deliver key services, find doing so as convenient as possible.

In Norwich, we are providing free parking to all key workers – and this includes those involved in food sales and production, workers in banks, utilities and communications – as well as community volunteers.

Any organisation with workers providing key services in Norwich and would benefit from having free parking to better support them doing this work, is invited to be included in this scheme.

Please note, this cannot be requested on an individual basis but must be done on behalf of an organisation by a senior member of its staff.

To make a request for your organisation to be included in the scheme, please email: parkingrequests@norwich.gov.uk

You will then receive an emailed PDF permit to be printed and displayed by your staff on their dashboards.
