Bandstands will come to life this summer as Norwich City Council’s programme of free concerts returns to city parks.
There will be an opportunity to enjoy brass and accordion bands every Sunday from 2 June until 25 August at locations around the city.
Music lovers will have the opportunity to enjoy music from nine different bands at four city parks.
This year’s programme begins at Mousehold Heath, with a performance from the Pavilion Brass Quintet.
Councillor Alan Waters, leader of Norwich City Council, said: “These free concerts are always a wonderful addition to our summer events calendar, giving us all a chance to enjoy some rousing music inside at a number of our beautiful parks.
“We are especially grateful to all of the local musicians who dedicate their time to provide these charming performances.”
The concerts are organised by conductor Brian Dermott who has been arranging them for over 20 years.
