Take a selfie with an elfie this Christmas

Published on Friday, 18th December 2020

A family of elves will be scattered around the city this Christmas – but can you snap them all?

Norwich City Council has teamed up with some of the city’s best known cultural institutions to create a ‘Selfie with an Elfie’ trail for the whole family to enjoy.

There will be 10 elves – in vinyl form – to find at different locations across the city.

Just take a snap with the image and scan the associated QR code to receive a virtual ‘stamp’ – if you can collect all 10, you’ll be entered into a prize draw!

The elves will all be themed around the location where they can be found – we’re sure you’ll recognise some famous faces!

Cllr Alan Waters, leader of the city council, said: “We wanted to find a way of spreading festive cheer around the city, while also promoting our excellent cultural venues – many of which have been forced to close during the Covid pandemic.

“This selfie trail is a great way of getting people out and about, enjoying the city centre during a well-deserved festive season.”

The trail is launching on Friday 18 December - don’t forget to share your progress on social media with the hashtag #SelfieWithAnElfie !
