The council's main offices and telephone lines will be closed from 4pm on Thursday 24 December and will reopen on Monday 4 January. However, we’re still available if you need us...
While our main offices are shut, we're still here:
- providing presence and patrols in Norwich to support the city’s response to Covid-19
- with many of our services available online
- in case of emergencies, please call our out-of-hours service: 01603 412 180.
Council tenants who have a heating or hot water emergency on 25, 26, 28 December and 1 January can call the out-of-hours number 01603 412180, as Gasway will be closed on these days.
Non-urgent enquiries or issues: any reported may not be processed until Monday 4 January.
Car parking enforcement
To help keep traffic flowing during this busy time, civil enforcement officers will continue to patrol over the festive period so please be aware of on-street parking restrictions (this includes bank holidays).
Any payments or challenges to penalty charge notices (PCNs) made over the Christmas period may not be visible until 2 January.
There will be delays with posting money to accounts over the closure period (eg customers paying rent, Council Tax, etc)
This will mean that any recent payments made will not appear on accounts until the first week of January.
There will be no service on 25 and 28 December or 1 January.
