Spring

Art on the railings

Last weekend of every month from March to December
St Peter Mancroft Church
Norwich City Council and St Peter Mancroft Church offer local artists the opportunity to display and sell their artwork on the church railings in the heart of the city every month.
 
Summer

Bandstand concerts

Sundays from June to August
Norwich has some amazing parks and what better way to enjoy them than to sit back and enjoy an afternoon of free music.

Lord Mayor’s Celebration

Thursday 4 July to Sunday 7 July
Norwich city centre
Four days of celebration, including the street procession (on Saturday 6 July); fireworks; outdoor stages with music, dance and theatre; funfair; medieval market; street fayre; street artists; cycle, road and duck races - and lots more. Children’s summer holiday activities

Various open spaces
Free activities for children in the parks and open spaces to keep them amused for hours! Visit one of our open spaces any day with all they have to offer, or attend one of the free events organised for children.

Halloween

Norwich Castle and The Forum
Halloween events, including pumpkin carvings and spooky bat parade through the city.

Fireworks - Norwich Castle

Friday 8 November at 7.30pm
The biggest firework display for miles around.

Winter

Christmas lights switch-on

Thursday 21 November
Norwich city centre
Candle-lit procession with Father Christmas and friends turning on the city’s festive lights.
