When applying for a search, please ensure you provide the following information and send it to us by post:
- full postal address of the property, including the postcode, number and plot number if applicable
- two copies of statutory form Con29R. (Please see www.lawsociety.org.uk/ for forms)
- two copies of recent Ordnance Survey plans showing the property clearly outlined in red and crossed hatched
- the relevant search fee. See fees and charges

Make a land search request online
You can also submit a full electronic search using the National Land Information Service (NLIS).
NLIS is a joint initiative between central and local government to provide an online service that will deliver publicly available land and property related information.
