How to make an FOI request

We are committed to openness and actively seek to make available information about how we work, our decision-making processes and the services we provide.

County Council Services

If your request relates to one of the services below, you will need to go to Norfolk County Council's website: (please note this list is not exhaustive).

  • Schools and education

  • Children's services

  • Highways, roads and transport (other than off-street car parks)

  • Social services

  • Libraries

  • Parking enforcement

  • Adoption and fostering

  • Museums

Make a request

Your request must be made in writing using the information request form. Please provide us with enough information for us to identify what is being asked for.

We aim to reply to your request as soon as possible but within 20 working days.

Some information is exempt (eg personal data and commercially sensitive details and publications may be published with this material deleted).
