Charity Bank offers loans to charities and other organisations that have a social purpose using the money that its savers entrust to it. It provides loans to support organisations to buy property, develop social housing or community facilities, or to fund social projects. Foundation East is a not for profit organisation that operates across East Anglia. It lends money to new businesses, existing businesses, charities and social enterprises that cannot get a loan from a bank or require additional funds to match bank lending.

Low Carbon Freight Dividend - East of England’s SMEs could now be eligible for £20,025. Small or medium sized business with a base in the East of England that move containers by road you could be eligible for this ERDF funding to move those containers by rail or coastal shipping instead.

GrantNet is a free, user-friendly, online search facility, which enables small businesses to find out about current funding opportunities.

New Anglia LEP finance a range of financial assistance from loans, grants or equity co-investment and initiatives are available for New Anglia businesses from start-up to existing businesses wishing to expand.

Norwich 4 New Enterprise unsecured interest-free loans of between £5,000 and £20,000 are available to help if you are unemployed or facing redundancy and are interested in setting up your own business in the Norwich, South Norfolk or Broadland area. For more information visit the grants and loans for businesses section of the Norfolk Community Foundation website.

The Regional Growth Loan Scheme, managed by Finance East part of The FSE Group, offers a solution for the owners of businesses that have been unable to raise finance elsewhere. It is aimed at companies with turnover of £500,000 or more and growth forecasts of 20% - 50% per annum.
