Transport for Norwich – proposed changes on Westwick Street
We are running a consultation on putting in place a contraflow cycle lane on Westwick Street and we would like to hear your views.
Westwick Street was made one-way in the 1970s and this has discouraged cycling in the area. The proposal is to create a facility for contraflow cycling to improve cycle access along this route.
The proposals include traffic calming and will also look to change the short section of single yellow line on the northern side of Westwick Street into double yellow lines. Plans also include keeping the existing loading arrangements along the southern edge of Westwick Street from the western boundary of number 23 to its junction with Charring Cross.
