Norwich City Services Limited (NCSL) is the data controller for vehicle tracking data.
We have a legal obligations and legitimate interests to process your personal information. You may contact our data protection and information security officer by emailing DPO@norwich.gov.uk
What will we do with your data?
We use it to track vehicles and their usage in line with our Vehicle Tracker and Driver ID Policy.
What are your rights?
You have the right to request access to your personal information; ask for errors to be corrected; restrict how your information is used; object to how it is processed; or request that your data is deleted.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioners Office if you are not happy with how your data is processed.
How will we share your data?
Information provided for vehicle telematics is shared internally with managers and health and safety colleagues in order that they may carry out their duties.
The data is hosted by Teletrac who may access data on occasion to assist in resolving software issues. Your data may also be shared externally as required with Norwich City Council officers, such as those in HR, who provide services to NCSL.
Apart from where previously stated, we do not pass your details to third parties unless we are lawfully able to do so for the prevention and detection of crime and fraud, or for the collection of taxes.
