The Digital Hub
Norwich is stepping boldly into the future with the creation of The Digital Hub - a vibrant new space designed to ignite innovation, support tech start-ups, and grow the city’s digital economy.
What is the Digital Hub?
Located in the heart of Norwich city centre, the Digital Hub will transform Townshend House - formerly the regional HQ of ITV - into a dynamic workspace tailored for digital and tech businesses. With 23,000 sq. ft of flexible office space, it’s set to become a launchpad for 10–25 companies and create up to 200 jobs.
Why it matters
This isn’t just another office building. The Digital Hub is:
- a springboard for start-ups: offering affordable, scalable space for new and growing digital businesses
- a magnet for investment: professionally managed to attract investors and companies looking to establish a presence in Norwich
- a community catalyst: with dedicated meeting and event spaces, it will host networking, learning, and showcase events - open to tenants and the wider tech community
A smarter use of space
Rather than building from scratch, the project smartly repurposes an existing landmark - Townshend House - making it a sustainable and cost-effective solution in a post-COVID world.
