Norwich is stepping boldly into the future with the creation of The Digital Hub - a vibrant new space designed to ignite innovation, support tech start-ups, and grow the city’s digital economy.
Located in the heart of Norwich city centre, the Digital Hub will transform Townshend House - formerly the regional HQ of ITV - into a dynamic workspace tailored for digital and tech businesses. With 23,000 sq. ft of flexible office space, it’s set to become a launchpad for 10–25 companies and create up to 200 jobs.

Rather than building from scratch, the project smartly repurposes an existing landmark - Townshend House - making it a sustainable and cost-effective solution in a post-COVID world.
The Digital Hub is a cornerstone of the Norwich Town Deal, a £25 million investment from central government aimed at boosting jobs, skills, and innovation. By creating a focal point for the digital sector, the Hub will help position Norwich as a thriving tech cluster - a place where ideas grow, businesses scale, and talent thrives.
