About Norwich North Levelling Up Fund

Norwich City Council was awarded £7.6m at the beginning of 2025 from the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government to deliver the Norwich North Mile Cross Health, Wellbeing and Economic Activity project.

Developed in partnership with the Norwich Vision Group, local communities, partners and public/private investors; these projects will provide a highly significant boost to deliver major regeneration alongside much needed skills infrastructure and jobs at a time when we are facing an unprecedented challenge to the future prosperity of the city, its residents and business community.

This exciting project will support the delivery of significantly improved, and new facilities in Mile Cross Sloughbottom Park, and improve areas of Dolphin Path improving connectivity. The Project aim is to provide facilities to enhance the health and wellbeing of the residents and community who use the park and include activities which ensure the Norwich community directly benefit from the proposed investment.
