It’s just over three weeks to go until Norwich heads to the polls for the local election – where one-third of city councillors, one in each of our 13 wards are up for election. Dates not to miss...
Thursday 14 April: registration deadline – This one is really important, anyone who wants to vote, will need to be registered and time is running out! Register here.
Tuesday 19 April: postal vote deadline – To apply for or cancel a postal vote, and this includes if you want to have someone carry out a proxy postal vote (a vote on your behalf). Complete the form and return it to us.
Tuesday 26 April: proxy (non-emergency) – If you want someone to be able to vote on your behalf at a polling station.
Thursday 5 May: polling day – the big day itself!
Friday 6 May: the count – results day!
