Suggest an estate improvement

Estate improvement projects are intended to benefit the whole community in a council-owned housing estate.

Key considerations for a successful suggestion:

The proposal should do one or more of the following:

  • Improve access
  • Improve security
  • Improve appearance
  • Regenerate an area
  • Reduce crime
  • Reduce antisocial behaviour (ASB)
  • Foster a sense of community

Examples of the type of work that may be carried out are:

  • Neighbourhood safety - bollards, rails, fencing, alleygates
  • Communal estate improvements - line markings, large repairs to improve estates
  • Enhancement - bike racks, benches, enclosing bin areas
  • Regeneration - re-surfacing and design

Use this form to tell us about your ideas. In order for a proposal to be considered please provide as much information as possible
