To apply to become a Freeman you will need the following:
- Contact details for you, your parents and your witness for the ceremony
- A scan or photo of your birth certificate and your parent’s freedom certificate, ready to upload and saved to your computer before you start the form. The file format can be JPG, PDF or Word document, maximum size 10MB
- A debit or credit card to pay £80 for the application
Please note: when you start the form you must continue to the end and submit it. You have 30 minutes to fill out each page and you will not be able to save the form and come back later.
