Moth survey evenings
Join the heath warden in using a light trap to catch, record and release the beautiful and diverse species of moth living in our parks and gardens.

Community wildlife workshops
Join a local wildlife expert to look at the wide variety of threatened and characteristic species which inhabit the site. Each session includes an hour in the classroom, followed by an exploration of the site. Light refreshments are provided during the lunch break.

- Friday 18 July, 11am – 3pm: Introduction to butterflies
- Monday 1 December, 11am – 3pm: Introduction to winter birds.

Dawn chorus survey walk
Join a heath warden on a British Trust for Ornithology (BTO) Common Bird Census transect survey walk to mark International Dawn Chorus Week at the start of May – a worldwide celebration of nature’s daily miracle. Followed by breakfast.

Fungi walk
