Business rate relief for Covid-19 affected businesses

The Covid-19 Additional Relief Fund (CARF) provides eligible businesses with 45% (up to a maximum of £25,000) of relief against their 2021-22 business rate liability.

Business support grants closed

Grants provided by the government to support businesses affected by the impacts of Covid-19 have now closed.

We are now carrying out post payment checks, as requested by the government, to confirm whether grants have been paid correctly and in compliance with the schemes guidances.

The New Anglia Growth Hub has trained advisers can provide guidance on a range of matters and possible support.

Financial support finder

The government has provided a tool for employers and the self-employed to check what support is available. You may be eligible for loans, tax relief and cash grants, whether your business is open or closed. Check what is available to you

Statutory Sick Pay Rebate Scheme

Small and medium-sized employers with less than 250 employees, are able to recover coronavirus-related Statutory Sick Pay paid to employees. Visit Gov.uk for more about the rebate scheme.

Self-employment income support scheme

If you're self-employed (or a member of a partnership) whose income has been negatively impacted by COVID-19, you can make a claim through the Self-employment income support scheme.

Apply for a Bounce Back Loan

A loan scheme to help small and medium-sized businesses to borrow between £2,000 and £50,000 launched on Monday 4 May 2020. Apply for the Bounce Back loan on the Gov.uk website.
