Norwich souvenirs go online

Published on Friday, 1st April 2016

New 'Norwich Shop' selling hundreds of souvenirs goes online. Visit www.thenorwichshop.co.uk to find out more.

A new website selling souvenirs of Norwich has been launched by the city council's Tourist Information Centre.

More than 300 products will be available online from The Norwich Shop, as well as from the TIC at The Forum.www.thenorwichshop.co.uk

Offerings at www.thenorwichshop.co.uk include T-shirts, hooded tops, teddies, and a wide range of sweets and biscuits from the TIC’s own I Love Norwich range.

Also available are local maps and books and tickets for city sightseeing tours and guided walking tours.

The TIC is seeking to increase its online profile and make its products and services available to a wider audience. It currently works closely with VisitNorwich and on the innovative Twitter and VisitEngland project #therealtimetravelguide.

Michelle Hurren, Norwich City Council's tourism development manager, said: “We are always looking for ways to reach a wider audience with the advice and services we offer to help visitors make the most of their stay in our fine city.

"For some time now we have been working on improving our web presence in a number of ways and this new shop is a key part of this. It's great that people will be able to buy Norwich souvenirs and tickets online, as well as in our Tourist Information Centre."

It is planned for the shop’s range to expand to include the work of locally-sourced designers in the coming months.www.thenorwichshop.co.uk
