Report a bin issue

If there’s a problem with your bin collection or you need a replacement, find out how toreport it or request help.

1. Missed bin collection

If your rubbish or recycling wasn’t collected, let us know within 2 working days of your collection date.

We can’t accept reports after 2 working days - check your bin day.

Food waste, textiles, electricals or batteries aren’t eligible for missed collection reports – please leave them out the following week.
 

2. Request a replacement or new bin

Use this form if your bin is lost, damaged, stolen or broken, or if you need a different size.

  • Request a new or replacement bin (refuse or recycling)
  • Request a food caddy or replacement sacks
  • Ask for a bigger bin (households of 5+ people)

3. Communal property bins

For shared buildings or flats - refuse, recycling,glass, food bins - use this form.

Use this form for damaged or missing garden waste bins.

5. New builds or conversions

If your home is newly built or recently converted, use this form to request new bins:

6. Need help putting out your bins?

If you cannot move your bins yourself and no one at home can assist, use this form to:

  • Apply for assisted collection
  • Cancel or respond to an assisted collection review

7. Other bin issues

Use this form for:

  • Rubbish left behind after your collection
  • Removal of unwanted bins
  • Bins not returned to the right place
  • Bins left on the street causing a nuisance

8. Need more food caddy liners?

  • Tie an empty liner to your outside bin on collection day.
  • If the crew has spare rolls, they’ll leave you one.

9. Report fly‑tipping

For items dumped instead of being disposed of properly.
