Interpretation and translation services

INTRAN logo

We’re committed to making our services accessible to everyone. That’s why we work with INTRAN, the interpretation and translation service for the eastern counties, to provide free language support for anyone who needs help using our services.

Wherever you see the INTRAN logo, we can help you access information in your preferred language through:

  • telephone interpreting
  • face-to-face interpreting
  • lip speaking or British Sign Language (BSL) interpreting
  • translation of written council information into other languages
  • alternative formats such as Braille, audio, or large print

If you need an interpreter, please let us know before your appointment so we can make arrangements. If that’s not possible, we can offer telephone interpreting on the spot.

To request a different format:

  • Contact us online
  • Call: 0344 980 3333.
  • Text Relay (for people with hearing impairments): 18001 0344 980 3333
