Staying safe play areas

Updated 28 July 2020

Please help us keep you, children and others safe by being aware of the following:

•  Children and supervising adults should not visit if any of you have symptoms of coronavirus or other infection.
•  Make sure you and children you’re supervising maintain a good distance from others as much as possible.
•  Equipment is shared and not sanitised. Consider wiping down touch points before and after use with antibacterial wipes you have brought with you.
•  Wash/sanitise children’s hands before and after use.
•  Use tissues for coughs/sneezes.
•  Avoid face-touching with unclean hands.
•  Dispose of litter responsibly.
•  Please do not picnic in play areas at this time.

Please note for the time-being the splashpad at Waterloo Park remains closed.

We have 81 play areas dotted around the city – some in our larger parks and some in residential patches – with a wide range of equipment, so there’s no shortage of opportunities for children to play.

The locations are all listed below, or you can type your postcode into My Norwich to find the one closest to you.
