What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files containing non-personal data which are created when you visit a website. They are stored on your device (PC, tablet. mobile) and are used to save information such as your preferred text size for the site, or the contents of your shopping basket.
There are two types of cookies:
session cookies - these are temporary and are deleted when you close your browser. Read about session cookies.
persistent cookies - these remain on your computer and are re-activated if you return to the same website. They expire after a certain amount of time. Read about persistent cookies.

How to manage cookies
