If you are a small group of residents looking to have a neighbourhood meet up around an issue, canvas neighbours on joining a new community group or simply hold a street party to bring people together, the Community enabling team can make purchases on yor behalf of up to £50.
This £50 can be used to hire a meeting venue, provide refreshments, pay for road closures for street parties or other small costs.
To access this fund, you do not need to be a formal community group, simply three or more residents wishing to make a difference. Purchases will be made on your behalf by Community enabling officers.
In addition to the £50 funding, officers can help you access equipment to loan such as gazebos, games, flip charts or other things your event might need to work well.
There is no formal application to complete, simply contact community@norwich.gov.uk and an officer will visit you to see if we can help.
