A call has gone out to community groups and organisations to come up with proposals to breathe new life into a former housing office in Lakenham today.
The council is inviting experienced, constituted organisations or partnerships to express their interest in taking a lease of the building in Mansfield Lane for the use for the delivery of community-based services and activities.
Councillor Josh Worley-Smith, cabinet member for business and social justice, said:
“We’re determined to bring this former housing office back to life for the public good. We want to hear from organisations who share our passion for delivering real social change for the benefit of our residents.
“This is about empowering local communities to help us make life better for the people of Norwich on their own doorstep.”
