When do we issue a fixed penalty notice?
We will issue a fixed penalty notice (FPN) to anyone who has committed an offence such as:
- littering
- fly-tipping
- graffiti
- failure to clear up after your dog
- abandoning a vehicle.
If you've seen someone commit one of these offences, please report it to us.
How to pay
If you can't pay online, you can also call 0344 980 3333 between 9am and 4pm, Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays) to make a payment by debit or credit card.
What to do if you've received a fixed penalty notice
You should pay within 14 calendar days of the notice being served (the date is shown on bottom of the notice). No further action will be taken.
Some offences offer a lower penalty if paid within 10 days.
If you do not pay or if the court rules against you, you may be liable to pay a higher fine.
