Provides strategic leadership for the council’s financial management, commercial activity, and procurement, ensuring financial sustainability, statutory compliance, and value for money. Acts as Section 151 Officer, overseeing financial strategy, budgeting, and resource allocation; revenues and benefits services; procurement operations; and commercial initiatives to drive income and strengthen financial resilience.

- Revenues and benefits – oversees the administration of Council Tax, Business Rates, and benefits services, ensuring efficient and fair delivery.
- Procurement – manages procurement strategy and operations, ensuring compliance, transparency, and best value.
- Commercial strategy and acquisitions – develops and delivers commercial initiatives and investment strategies to generate income and support financial resilience.
