Bulky (large) item collection

If you have large items you can’t fit in your bin (like furniture or appliances), the council can collect them from your home. Examples include things like sofas, fridges, mattresses, and wardrobes. This service is for households only (not businesses or landlords).

What it costs

Prices depend on how many items you want collected:

Number of items Cost

6 £57.50

What you need to do on collection day

  • Put your items outside your property by 6:30am
  • Leave them at the front boundary (e.g. by the pavement)
